Halloween Music

Music plays a huge role in our household and Halloween a top-tier holiday for our family, so it stands to reason that I’d search for music appropriate for the spooky season. The only problem with that is that it’s not a huge industry or tradition like Christmas music, so pickings can be thin… or in some cases, poor excuses for Halloween-appropriate music. “Zombie” by The Cranberries is not a song for Halloween despite being named after a classic monster.

So here’s our house’s Halloween playlist! It’s not a huge list for the reasons listed above, but I think it’s nicely curated. Give them a listen if you’re looking for new songs to add to your own Halloween soundtrack! In the case of classical music I’m only listing the composers, as there are many performances that might appeal to different ears, so find the one that suits you best!
